About

The Canton Performing Arts Council (CPAC), formerly known as the Carnegie Center for the Arts, Culture and Education, is a non-profit organization started by enthusiastic volunteers in Canton, SD in 2013. The purpose of the CPAC is to bring some culture and variety to our small town and to ingrain the importance of the arts into our community for life.

Our goal is to bring a variety of programs in each year that will satisfy people of all ages and interests including theatre, musicians of all genres, local talent shows and family movie nights.
